The Anatolian Project
PALaC is short for “Pre-Classical Anatolian Languages in Contact”. The project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement n° 757299).
The Aim
The aim of PALaC is to identify and study all the traces of language contact in the corpora from the Anatolian Area in the II and early I millennia BCE, comparing the results of the linguistic analysis with the data on the historical and cultural geography of the Ancient Near East.
